We are currently seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Optical Dispensers to join our team across our Leopold, Geelong and Waurn Ponds practices.Whether you have previous optical experience or are looking to build a career in eye care, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleAs an Optical Dispenser, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for our patients.
Working closely with our optometrists and practice teams, you will:Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs and lifestyleProvide outstanding customer service and product adviceSupport optometrists with patient flow and practice operationsPerform minor frame adjustments and repairsProcess sales and administrative tasks accuratelyMaintain attractive retail displays and presentation of the practiceContribute to a welcoming and professional environment for patients and colleaguesAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you will have:Previous experience in a customer service,



retail or healthcare environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfidence using computer systems and completing administrative tasksA genuine interest in eye health and helping peopleA positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learnGood to have:Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or equivalent qualificationPrevious experience working in an optical practice would be added advantageKnowledge of frames, lenses and optical productsAvailable RostersWe currently have two part-time opportunities available, each offering 19 hours per week.Position 1 - Waurn Ponds/ GeelongDay Location HoursMon WP 10:00am - 3:00pmTue Geelong 10:00am - 3:00pmWed WP 10:00am - 3:00pmSat WP 9:30am - 1:30pmDay Location HoursMon Leopold 10:00am - 4:30pmTue Leopold 10:00am - 4:30pmWed Leopold 9:30am - 5:00pmWhy Join GMHBA?
