This is an exciting chance for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Accounts Officer / Bookkeeper to join the Kidsafe Qld team at our head office in Stafford.
Working closely with management, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the organisation and ensuring our accounts and financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.Key responsibilitiesRecording and maintaining accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivableProcessing invoices, payments and receiptsReconciling bank accounts on a regular basisProcessing payroll and superannuation contributionsPreparing financial reports and statements for management and board review and compliance purposesManaging accounting records and ensuring all documentation is organised and accessiblePerforming monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accuracyPreparing and lodging all BAS and ATO obligations on behalf of the businessMaintaining confidentialityAssisting with general administrative tasks as required to support business operationsAbout youA minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experienceProficiency with Xero essentialStrong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including double-entry accounting and financial reconciliationExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keepingAbility to work independentlyStrong organisational and time-management skills,
