N.S.W Instant Cash is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in Pawnbroking at Cardiff and Maitland, NSW.
This is a casual position leading to fulltime employment for the right applicant offering flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service and supporting our retail operations.
As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our business, delivering a positive shopping experience and contributing to the success of our store through engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining our retail setting to the highest standards.What you'll be doingGreeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product enquiries and purchasesProcessing sales transactions accurately and securely using our point-of-sale systemsMaintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail space, including restocking shelves and displaysHandling cash and card payments with integrity and following all company proceduresBuilding positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyaltyFollowing company policies and procedures at all timesSupporting the store team to meet sales targets and objectivesAssisting with stock management and inventory checks as requiredWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in retail or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essentialStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customersNumeracy skills and the ability to handle transactions accuratelyReliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual hours including weekends if requiredA friendly, positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer serviceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate itemsBasic computer skills or willingness to learn point-of-sale systems quicklyWhat we offerN.S.
