Applicants may apply for either location or both.Redbank Plains – High-Intensity Paediatric SupportWe are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join an established team providing high-intensity, one-to-one support to a paediatric NDIS participant.Day, afternoon and awake overnight shifts are available.
Applicants must be available for a minimum of three shifts per week.Eight Mile Plains – Disability Support WorkerWe are seeking a reliable, compassionate and physically capable Disability Support Worker to provide in-home support and community access to an NDIS participant.The participant uses a wheelchair, so applicants must be physically capable of safely supporting wheelchair-based community access and meeting the inherent physical requirements of the role.Community participation is an important part of this position, including regularly supporting the participant to attend church and participate in faith-based community activities.




Applicants do not need to share the participant's religious beliefs but must be comfortable and respectful in supporting this important part of the participant's life.Key responsibilitiesRedbank Plains:PEG/enteral feeding and associated careSeizure monitoring and managementMedication assistancePersonal care and daily living supportMonitoring and responding appropriately to changes in the participant's conditionFollowing individual care plans and clinical protocolsAccurate documentation and progress notesEight Mile Plains:In-home support and assistance with daily livingCommunity access and participationSupporting safe wheelchair-based community accessSupporting the participant to attend church and participate in faith-based community activitiesEncouraging independence and community connectionAccurate documentation and progress notesAbout youCertificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalentCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent First Aid and CPRCurrent Australian driver's licenceReliable transportPrevious disability support experienceStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliability and commitment to rostered shiftsUnrestricted, ongoing working rights in AustraliaFor Redbank Plains: Demonstrated high-intensity disability support experience and confidence working within a paediatric care environment.
