About the Role
We're seeking committed Casual Carers to join our team at The Gracewood Centre, Kellyville.
In this role, you'll support residents with warmth, compassion and professionalism, helping them live well every day.
You'll build meaningful relationships, assist with daily living tasks, and contribute to a protected, person‐centred environment.
We're looking for carers with strong Monday–Friday availability across AM and PM shifts to support the team during busy periods and maintain consistent care for residents.
Your Responsibilities
Resident connection — Build genuine, trusting relationships and understand individual needsPersonal care — Assist with showering, grooming, meals, mobility and manual handlingMeaningful engagement — Support activities that bring joy, purpose and social connectionPromoting independence — Uphold dignity and encourage resident choiceCommunication — Report changes or concerns to ensure care plans remain accurate

About You
You bring compassion, patience and a genuine desire to support older people.
You thrive in a team environment and have the practical skills to deliver safe, high‐quality care.
To be successful, you will bring:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, or be working toward completionExperience in residential aged care or similarCompetence in personal care, mobility and manual handlingStrong commitment to person‐centred care and resident dignityGood communication skills and the ability to build warm, trusting relationshipsReliable Monday–Friday availability across AM and PM shiftsAbility to work independently and as part of a supportive teamBasic computer skills for documentation and care plansA positive, respectful and empathetic approach
