Be part of the team behind every great dining experience at West HQ.We're looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Stewards to join our busy Food & Beverage team.As a Kitchen Steward, you'll play an important role in supporting our chefs and kitchen teams by keeping our kitchens clean, organised and running smoothly.The Day to DayAs part of our kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:Operating wash-up areas and ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipmentCleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, benches and work areasSweeping and mopping floors and maintaining clean and safe kitchen areasRemoving rubbish and disposing of waste correctlyAssisting with opening and closing cleaning proceduresEnsuring cleaning chemicals and equipment are used and stored safelyFollowing food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety proceduresReporting hazards, damaged equipment or maintenance concerns to your managerSupporting the wider kitchen team as requiredOur Perfect FitWe're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and isn't afraid to get stuck in.




You take pride in keeping your work area clean and organised, work well as part of a team and can keep up in a busy kitchen setting.Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role is desirableAn understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety requirementsKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and Safety Data Sheets is an advantageGood organisational and time-management skillsA positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen teamAvailability across seven days, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and public holidaysFull Australian working rightsWhat we can offer you!
