punctual and willing to learnHas a positive attitude and good work ethicCan follow instructions and work safelyWorks well as part of a teamHas reliable transport to and from our Archerfield workshopPrevious fabrication experience isn't essential.
However, school-based engineering studies, a Certificate II/pre-apprenticeship, work experience or exposure to metal fabrication will be highly regarded.What You Can ExpectYou will work a 38-hour week, including your required TAFE training, with opportunities for overtime when available.Most importantly, you'll be learning your trade in a genuine heavy-engineering workplace alongside experienced Boilermakers and other tradespeople, giving you exposure to real manufacturing and fabrication work throughout your apprenticeship.
