We're seeking a Registered Psychologist to join a supportive multidisciplinary inpatient mental health team, delivering evidence-based psychological interventions in both group and individual settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys facilitating therapeutic groups, working collaboratively with psychiatrists and allied health professionals and making a genuine impact on patient outcomes.
About the Role As part of a multidisciplinary inpatient team, you'll deliver evidence-based psychological services to adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
Your responsibilities will include: Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic group programs Provide individual psychological assessment and intervention Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and prepare clinical reports Develop case formulations and treatment plans alongside psychiatrists Deliver CBT and other evidence-based therapies Manage a clinical caseload of inpatient clients Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and discharge planning Provide education and support to patients throughout their recovery journey Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records About You To be successful you will have: AHPRA registration as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist Experience working within mental health settings Strong assessment, formulation and report writing skills Experience facilitating therapeutic groups (highly regarded) Knowledge of evidence-based therapies including CBT Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills A compassionate, recovery-focused approach to patient care What's on Offer Join a highly supportive multidisciplinary mental health team Deliver meaningful, evidence-based group therapy programs Diverse mix of assessment, individual therapy and group facilitation Ongoing professional development and peer supervision Collaborative working environment alongside experienced psychiatrists and clinicians Opportunity to work within an established inpatient mental health service Competitive salary package HENDERSON HEALTHCARE: We're a specialist healthcare recruitment agency passionate about matching excellent clinicians with incredible opportunities.
