Daily tasks and responsibilities : Completes daily forklift safety checklist.
Hooks batteries up to battery charger.
Assists with creating drop list of merchandise for placement in aisles.
Communicates with floor managers to set priorities and determine merchandise placement.
Moves pallets of merchandise using electric forklift and electric pallet.
Uses/acts as spotter to alert forklift driver if something is falling and to keep people out of the fall-danger zone.
Wraps pallets in plastic wrap and attaches a merchandise tag.




Stacks merchandise from partial pallets onto full pallets.
Removes empty pallets from the sales floor.
Rotates stock as necessary.
Ensures that all pallets being placed in steel meet Costco Standards.
Assists with stocking.
Clears sales floor of debris.
Checks merchandise sign accuracy.
Marks unmarked merchandise with item number.
Follows proper Merchandising and general safety procedures and standards.
Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry-specific skills that candidates should possess): Education/Training: High School Certificate or higher Licenses/Certifications: Forklift Certification (prior to operating a forklift).
Experience: Forklift driving, merchandising or comparable experience Knowledge/Skills: *MUST BE 18 YEARS AND OVER*
