About the Role Euro Auto Repairs is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join its workshop team.
The successful candidate will diagnose, service and repair passenger vehicles, identify mechanical faults and carry out scheduled maintenance and component repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop standards.
Location: 10 Wilton Avenue, Somerton Park SA **** Employment Type: Full time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment, testing procedures and technical information Perform scheduled and logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications Inspect, dismantle, repair and reassemble engines and associated mechanical components Repair and replace defective components in braking, steering, suspension, cooling, fuel and drivetrain systems Carry out routine maintenance including fluid, filter and component replacement Test and adjust mechanical components and systems following repairs to ensure correct operation Identify worn,



damaged or defective parts and determine appropriate repair or replacement requirements Conduct vehicle inspections and operational checks to identify mechanical and safety-related faults Perform road tests where required to verify vehicle performance and completed repairs Use workshop tools, diagnostic equipment and technical specifications safely and effectively Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and parts used Maintain workshop tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition and comply with workplace health and safety requirements Candidate Requirements Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a related discipline Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic Experience servicing and repairing European vehicles will be highly regarded Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engines and vehicle mechanical systems Practical experience in fault diagnosis, servicing and mechanical repairs Ability to interpret manufacturer specifications and technical information Competence in using automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and effectively within a workshop team Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Only candidates currently residing in Australia will be shortlisted How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
