Our client is seeking to add an experienced Senior Barber to its team to deliver high-quality barbering services, support day-to-day salon operations, maintain strong customer service and presentation standards, and assist with the effective coordination of the salon team.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the salon, including workflow coordination, staff attendance and rostering assistance • Delivering professional precision haircutting, styling and grooming services to a diverse clientele • Performing clipper and scissor cutting, fades, beard trimming, grooming, styling and blow-drying services • Providing personalised client consultations to understand individual preferences and desired styles • Recommending suitable haircut, grooming and styling options to clients • Supervising and coordinating staff to support efficient daily salon operations • Assisting with staff rostering,



attendance coordination and general team requirements • Maintaining high standards of customer service, workplace presentation and professional conduct • Addressing customer concerns in a qualified and timely manner • Maintaining salon hygiene, cleanliness and safe work practices • Using professional hair care products, tools and equipment appropriately • Supporting consistent technical and service standards across the salon • Working collaboratively with management to maintain efficient workflow and service delivery • Keeping informed of current barbering, grooming and styling techniques and trends Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as a hairdresser and/or barber • Experience in a senior, supervisory, team coordination or management capacity • Demonstrated experience in professional men's haircutting, barbering, styling and grooming techniques • Strong skills in clipper and scissor cutting, fades, beard grooming and styling • Demonstrated ability to conduct client consultations and deliver services according to individual client requirements • Experience supervising or coordinating staff within a salon or barbershop environment • Strong customer service and communication skills • Good organisational and time-management skills • Sound knowledge of workplace hygiene, cleanliness and safe work practices • Proficiency in the use of professional hair care products, tools and equipment • Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent trade qualification required at time of application Due to the volume of applicants, only those meeting the minimum standards will be considered and only successful applicants will be contacted.
