Aquila Mine has been developed as one Australia's most technologically advanced underground mines, leveraging Anglo American's advancements in underground automation technology, remote operations and data analytics.
Job Details As a School-Based Electrical Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced tradespeople while beginning the journey to develop the practical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will learn how to: Install, service, maintain, repair, isolate, test, and commission a range of electrical systems and fixed infrastructure used in the coal mining industry Work with advanced technologies, including high-voltage electrical equipment, communications systems,



and backup power infrastructure Apply industry-leading safety practices and develop valuable trade skills in a real-world mining workplace This opportunity is designed for students who are currently attending school and are interested in pursuing a rewarding career in the electrical trade.
You will work one day per week (5:30am to 5:30pm) while continuing your secondary studies, with the apprenticeship commencing at the beginning of ****.
