Weighbridge, Logistics & Administration Operator
This is a varied role combining weighbridge operations, transport coordination, customer service and general administration.
You will play an important part in keeping daily operations running smoothly while working closely with customers, drivers, yard staff and management.
Key responsibilities
Operating the weighbridge and accurately processing vehicle weights and transactions
Preparing weighbridge dockets, RCTIs and customer paperwork
Answering incoming phone calls and emails
Assisting customers with enquiries
Booking and coordinating scrap metal collections
Scheduling skip bin deliveries, exchanges and collections
Coordinating tray truck and other transport movements
Liaising with drivers, customers, yard staff and management regarding daily logistics




Processing customer payments and managing the till
Managing and reconciling petty cash
About you
Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
Robust communication and customer service skills
Confident using computers and completing administrative tasks
Excellent attention to detail
Can work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Positive and professional attitude
Experience in transport, logistics, weighbridge operations or administration would be highly regarded; however, training can be provided to the right person
