2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice - Electrotechnology Electrician
Essential Power Systems (EPS) is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Electrotechnology Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team.
This is a great prospect for an apprentice wanting to gain hands‐on experience across industrial electrical, generators and power generation, rather than doing the same work every day.
Key responsibilities
Electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
Generator servicing, installation and commissioning
Switchboards, ATS and temporary power systems
Industrial and commercial electrical work
Working both in our Cardiff workshop and on client sites
Assisting qualified electricians and technicians on larger projects
About you
Currently completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician




2nd or 3rd year apprentice
Current driver's licence
White Card
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable, practical and able to work as part of a team
Interest in industrial electrical and power generation
Willingness to travel and work away occasionally when required
Variety of work – workshop, field service and project sites
Hands‐on experience with generators from small units through to large‐scale power systems
Opportunity to develop skills beyond standard electrical work
