About the Role With a strong secured pipeline of SMP projects across the Goldfields, we're growing our workforce to meet sustained demand from our tier one gold mining clients.

We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a FIFO crew across client mine sites.
You'll run site-based scopes from mobilisation through to handover, lead safety and quality in the field, and support our Kalgoorlie workshop when project demands require it.

You'll spend most of your time on client sites across Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the outer Goldfields, leading a crew of boilermakers, painters and leading hands-on fixed plant, structural and tank scopes.
When site demand allows or the workshop needs support, you'll assist our Kalgoorlie workshop with fabrication, QA/QC and prefabrication for upcoming site works.
You'll report to the Projects Manager and Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities • Plan, coordinate and supervise site works to deliver scopes safely, on time and on budget • Lead your crew on site, including tradespersons, leading hands and trade assistants • Lead site WHS: client inductions, permits to work, JHAs/SWMS, pre-starts, toolbox talks, inspections and hazard reporting • Own site QA/QC: ITP hold points, weld and dimensional inspection, NCRs and handover documentation • Liaise with client representatives on daily progress, site instructions and scope changes • Complete daily reports, timesheets, daily claims and variations in conjunction with the Projects team • Plan resources, materials and equipment ahead of each swing, and coordinate subcontractors and third-party inspectors • Support the Kalgoorlie workshop as required, including prefabrication, QA/QC and hands-on mentoring on the floor • Step in on the tools when operationally required What You Bring - Qualifications,



Tickets Licences • Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication or Mechanical) (if an International Qualification, must have completed VETASSESS or equivalent Australian Trade recognition) • Minimum 3-5 years' supervisory experience in a mine site or construction environment • Minimum 5 years' mine site / construction site experience, fixed plant exposure preferred • Section 26 course completion (Statutory Supervisor); Section 26 exam certification highly regarded • National Police Clearance ( 1 year) – Gold Mine Site Access Standard must be met • Working at Heights ( 2 years) • Confined Space Gas Testing ( 2 years) • White Card • High Risk Licence (LF EWP) at least 1 of these must be held – DG, RB, CN advantageous • Current Australian Driver's Licence (min C Class – HR / MC preferred) • Ability to pass comprehensive pre-employment medical, including drug alcohol screening Technical Capability • Interpret engineering, fabrication isometric drawings • Strong working knowledge of structural steel, plate and welding processes (GMAW/FCAW/SMAW/GTAW) to AS/NZS and ASME codes • Fixed plant maintenance, shutdown and mine site structural repair/modification experience • Tier one mining services project experience highly advantageous • Familiar with client permit systems and site-based QA/QC documentation: ITP sign-offs, NCRs, hold points and test certificates • Confident communicating with client representatives and managing scope changes on the run Apply today with your resume.
