An exciting opportunity has become available for an experiencedSenior HR Business Partnerto join a large, global organisation and take on a key role supporting its Australian and New Zealand operations.
Working closely with senior business leaders and reporting into the APAC HR leadership function, this is a broad and influential position combiningstrategic business partnering, people leadership and hands‐on HR delivery.
You'll lead a small HR team while partnering with the business across the full employee lifecycle, providing trusted advice on complex people matters and delivering initiatives across employee engagement, performance, organisational effectiveness, change and workforce strategy.
As a senior member of the HR function, you will:
Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate these into practical people strategies and initiatives
Provide strategic and commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle
Lead and coach a small team of HR professionals
Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes and workplace issues
Drive performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews and feedback processes
Lead employee engagement initiatives, analyse survey results and develop meaningful action plans
Use workforce data, HR metrics and insights to identify trends, influence decision‐making and improve business performance
Partner with leaders to identify capability and development needs and work with specialist teams to deliver appropriate solutions
Support annual and ad‐hoc remuneration and benefits activities, taking into consideration business requirements and local market practices
Coach managers on leadership, team dynamics, conflict resolution and people management
Contribute to change management, organisational effectiveness and broader HR projects
Support employees and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand
Collaborate with colleagues across an international, multicultural environment and multiple time zones
We're looking for an established HR professional who is equally comfortable discussing people strategy with senior leaders and stepping into complex operational HR matters when required.
Ideally, you will bring:
12 years' HR experience, with significant experience in HR Business Partnering or a comparable senior HR position
Strong knowledge of Australian employment practices and the ability to confidently manage complex employee relations matters
Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business stakeholders in a large and complex organisation
Previous experience leading or managing HR team members
Strong capability across strategic HR, change management, employee engagement and HR analytics
Experience across the full employee lifecycle
Confidence using workforce data and insights to inform recommendations and influence business decisions
Experience working within a global or multinational organisation and collaborating across cultures and time zones
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
A relevant tertiary qualification
Experience withintechnology, ICT, professional services or another large corporate environmentwill be highly regarded.
