We are looking for allocations experience within the linehaul/interstate road transport sector, as well as exposure to fresh produce and overnight express freightAs a Transport Allocator you will be responsible for:Planning and scheduling drivers for the timely pick up and delivery of freight.




Meeting timeframes and time-slots is a critical aspect of this roleRostering and managing drivers to ensure maximum utilisation of company equipmentClear communication of instructions and expectations to drivers and other staff - using WhatsApp to provide instructions to driversClear and timely communication with external and internal partiesMonitoring COR and Fatigue ManagementAccurate and timely record keeping of the daily movements of drivers and equipmentAllocations experience within the linehaul/interstate road transport sectorExperience and understanding of produce and refrigerated freight is highly desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailIntermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essentialAbility to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environmentAbility to work well in a team environmentFull training will be provided- but you must be a go getter and learn on the fly!
