With a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence and sustainable resource development, our client offers employees the opportunity to work within an established mining operation while contributing to the continued development of Queensland's resources industry.What you will be doing:Coordinate and support safety and health activities across mill processing and surface operationsFacilitate risk assessments and assist with the identification and management of workplace hazardsDevelop, implement and maintain Safety and Health Management SystemsDeliver and facilitate training across site, ensuring employees meet required competency and compliance standardsSupport ongoing safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across the operationMaintain accurate safety and training documentation and recordsUtilise systems including SharePoint and SkyTrust to manage safety and compliance informationWhat you will need:To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Minimum 5 years' experience within metalliferous mining (advantageous)Previous experience working across mill processing and surface operationsCert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalentDemonstrated experience facilitating risk assessmentsExperience developing and maintaining Safety and Health Management SystemsStrong computer literacy,



with experience using SharePoint and SkyTrust highly regardedStrong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skillsCommitment to maintaining high standards of safety and complianceAbility to successfully undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testingWhat's in it for you?
