Job Description
Ensure optimal casting of artistic talent across the studio, through the scheduling and prioritisation of resources across multiple projects
Work with Head of Department to balance team experience, skills, and development needs
Induct new crew into production and department processes
Manage and report on department overtime and TOIL to key stakeholders
Develop and oversee leave strategies considering utilization, cross-show demands, and artist wellbeing
Conduct regular check-ins with crew
Lead processes for team performance reviews, feedback, and identifying career development opportunities
Approve timesheets accurately and keep internal systems up to date
Participate in interviews and contribute to department hiring decisions
Provide regular reporting to Management
Skills and Experience




Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and proactive task ownership
Calm, level-headed approach under pressure
Solid understanding of VFX pipeline and the VFX industry
Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Knowledge of HR practices and performance management
