Based in Bassendean, they provide total component solutions — from the smallest custom parts to complex welded structures up to 10 tonnes across industrial, mining, oil & gas, commercial, and residential building sectors, with customers worldwide.About The OpportunityAs a Mechanical Fitter, your primary purpose will be to perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation of plant and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation across site or workshop facilities.
Key responsibilities include:Performing planned and unplanned maintenance on mechanical plant and equipmentDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtimeDismantling, overhauling, and reassembling components such as pumps, gearboxes, and conveyorsCompleting maintenance records and work orders in accordance with site proceduresWorking in compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and safety standardsInterpreting technical manuals, drawings,



and engineering documentationAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:5–10 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the mining, oil & gas, or manufacturing industryA Certificate III in Engineering, a Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualificationA current driver's licence, white card, and relevant tickets such as rigging, dogging, or forkliftStrong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and high-level mechanical and electrical systemsExperience with technical platforms and the ability to interpret technical documentationStrong attention to detail, a safety-conscious mindset, and full compliance with WHS policies and proceduresExcellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a teamWhat's in it for You?
