If you want to grow into design, you'll work alongside senior designers to build that skill set over time.Running documentation solo to start, then building and mentoring a local team as the Sunshine Coast office growsWorking closely with senior designers to expand from drafting into designSome combination of both, shaped as your role maturesYou'll be part of an intimate, close-knit local team, while plugged into a much broader bench of specialists across South East Queensland — engineers, designers and leaders genuinely regarded as some of the best in the master-planned community space.What We're Looking ForThis is deliberately open on experience — we want to hear from civil drafters at very different stages of their career, because the right person shapes this role, not the other way around.Beyond that, we're looking for someone who:Has proven civil drafting experience gained within an engineering consultancyHolds relevant qualificationsCan manage multiple priorities at once, working autonomouslyUnderstands local and state government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirementsHas essential, hands-on AutoCAD experience — 12D experience is highly desirable, especially for those looking to grow into designCommunicates clearly and confidently, including managing external consultantsSolves problems creatively, finding a way through obstacles rather than around themOnly those with full Australian work rights will be considered for this position.
