Gazzola Farms Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehousing and distribution team in Boneo, VIC.
This is a full‐time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our warehouse operations.
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the secure and accurate movement, stacking, and storage of goods within our facility, ensuring that our distribution processes run smoothly and meet our operational targets.
This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality service to our clients.Key responsibilitiesOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, lift, stack, and transport goods throughout the warehouseLoad and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damageArrange and organise stored items in the warehouse according to established systems and company proceduresMaintain accurate records of goods received, moved, and dispatchedPerform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment, reporting any faults or hazards to managementAdhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environmentAssist with inventory management and stocktaking activities as requiredCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate warehouse activitiesMaintain a clean and organised work area and comply with housekeeping standardsWhat we're looking forCurrent and valid forklift licence (LF)Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environmentStrong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in material handlingAbility to work safely and accurately under pressure, meeting warehouse productivity targetsGood physical fitness and ability to work in a warehouse environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail and strong organisational abilitiesReliability and commitment to punctualityWillingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively with supervisors and colleaguesExperience with inventory management systems or warehouse management software would be advantageousWhat we offerGazzola Farms Pty Ltd is committed to providing a positive and supportive workplace for all our employees.
