This is a casual position based in Upper Mount Gravatt, Queensland, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your availability.
You will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the quality standards our members and guests expect, whether working behind the bar, taking orders, or supporting kitchen operations.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and serve drinks with accuracy, efficiency and a friendly demeanourTake customer orders and process payments using our point-of-sale systemMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areasAssist with food preparation and plating in the kitchen when requiredEnsure compliance with responsible service of alcohol practicesProvide knowledgeable recommendations about available beverages and menu itemsManage stock rotation and report on inventory levelsSupport the team in delivering outstanding customer service to all patronsAdhere to health and safety procedures and food handling standardsWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in bar, hospitality or kitchen roles (desirable but not essential)Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitudeAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectivelyGood communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a teamFlexibility to work casual shifts, including evenings and weekends as requiredFood handling certification or willingness to obtain oneCurrent RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or ability to complete trainingAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanlinessBasic mathematical skills and honesty in handling cash and paymentsWhat we offerFlexible casual working arrangements to accommodate your personal scheduleCompetitive casual rates of payAccess to our club facilitiesSupportive team environment where your contributions are recognised and valuedOngoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skillsThe chance to work in a vibrant community setting with diverse and friendly members
