Mechanical & Electrical Trade Assistants n

Recruitment Select is currently seeking mechanically and electrically minded individuals to join our large, well-known manufacturing client based in Benalla. This role would be highly suited to someone with a trade-like background.

n

This role will commence on a casual basis with the potential for permanent full-time positions in the future. Working hours may vary between day shift (6:00am-2:15pm) and afternoon shift (2:00pm-10:15pm). Training will be conducted on the day shift, so flexibility across both shifts is essential.

n

Wages will be negotiated based on experience. Candidates with licensed electrical qualifications or a relevant degree in mechanics/electrical will be eligible for higher pay rates. This is a hands-on role so you will be required to use hand/power tools confidently, on your own and assemble products.

Responsibilities may include:

n

Refurbishment of transformers, kiosks, and switchgear
n
Assembly of electrical products
n
Switchboard assembly
n
Running conduits
n
Testing cables and final products
n
Relocating and installing data outlets
n
Cable pulling and running
n
Wiring
n

n

This is entirely indoor work, no outdoor or confined-space tasks are required.
