Aircraft Trimmer / Upholstery Technician

ALG is seeking an experienced Trimmer/Upholstery Technician to join a leading aviation organisation based at Tullamarine Airport.

n

This role involves trimming and upholstery work on aircraft interiors, ULD curtains and similar components.

About the Role n

Cutting and preparing fabrics and materials
n
Sewing and stitching
n
Gluing and bonding
n
Upholstery and trimming
n
Repairing and fitting interior components
n
Working with fabrics, vinyl, leather and similar materials
n
Following technical and quality requirements
n

About You n

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

n

n
Aircraft, automotive or marine trimming
n
Upholstery or similar hands-on trades
n
Industrial sewing and fabric cutting
n
Gluing and finishing techniques
n




Working accurately to specifications
n

n

Previous aviation experience is not essential. Candidates from automotive, marine or general upholstery backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

- A Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology (AUR32312) or an equivalent qualification is required for candidates to be considered for an AME position.
n
- Candidates with the required skills and experience but without the relevant qualification may be considered for a TA position.
n
