We're hiring a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients.
This is a permanent part-time role with fixed, predictable hours - 12:00pm to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
No weekends, no evenings, no rotating roster.
You'll be the person who makes a patient's first interaction with us calm, qualified and confidential.Key responsibilitiesAnswer inbound calls and respond to patient enquiries by phone and emailManage the telehealth appointment book - bookings, rescheduling, cancellations, waitlistPrepare and manage patient records in our practice management systemProcess payments, receipting, Medicare and health fund claimingLiaise with pathology providers and follow up outstanding results workflowsSupport our doctors with day-to-day administrative tasksMaintain patient confidentiality and privacy to the highest standardKeep the clinic space and reception area presentable for in-person appointmentsAbout youExcellent phone manner and written communicationComfortable and non-judgemental discussing sexual health topics with patientsStrong computer skills and the ability to pick up new software quicklyAccurate, organised,
