Join the Finance team at Antler, working from our STRAND Head Office in Pyrmont, and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function of a fast-paced retail business.This is a great opportunity for someone with solid AP experience who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, building strong supplier relationships and making sure the numbers are right.Temporary role | 2-3 months | Pyrmont Head Office | 4 days onsiteAbout the RoleReporting into the Finance team, you'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end Accounts Payable process and ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.You'll be working across a busy, multi-site retail environment, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries and keep our accounts running smoothly.Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable functionProcess a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatch invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentationComplete supplier statement reconciliationsPrepare and process payment runsReconcile accounts and investigate discrepanciesRespond to supplier and internal payment queriesMaintain accurate supplier records and ensure invoices are coded correctlyAssist with month-end activities and reportingSupport the wider Finance team with ad hoc accounting tasksIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficienciesWhat we're looking for2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance roleStrong understanding of end-to-end AP processesExperience processing high volumes of invoices and transactionsStrong reconciliation and attention-to-detail skillsConfident working with ERP/accounting systems such as Exflow, Microsoft Dynamics or similarIntermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tablesExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholdersA proactive approach and willingness to get involvedNice to haveExperience working within retail, wholesale or a multi-site businessTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or BusinessExperience working with large supplier databases or high-volume AP environmentsWho We AreWe're STRAND, Australia's go-to travel and lifestyle companion since ****.With a growing portfolio of iconic brands and a nationwide retail network, we're passionate about helping people go places.You'll be based at our Pyrmont Head Office, working alongside our Finance and broader business teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Why Start Your Journey With STRAND?
