FlyFree Retractable Insect Screens at Brendale is looking for a Casual Sewing Machine operator for 2-3 days a week.
We make custom retractable flyscreens; our machinist needs to be comfortable operating a twin needle and single needle machine.
The job entails cutting, measuring, and sewing lightweight flyscreen material.
Key responsibilities
Operating twin needle and single needle sewing machinesCutting and measuring lightweight flyscreen materialOccasionally assisting with loading new rolls of meshHelping in other areas of the factory, including cutting and assembly of aluminium components
About you
Experience with industrial sewing machinesWillingness to learnExceptional ability to accurately read, write and transfer measurementsPhysically fit, as you will be required to occasionally assist loading new rolls of meshA clean and tidy worker who takes pride in their environment and workOpen to helping in other areas of the factory
