Golden Beach Medical Centre is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our busy practices.
This is a casual position to start (ideally 2-4 days a week) with availability for leave cover as needed, with the potential for the successful applicant to transition into a permanent PT role.As a member of our dedicated healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our medical practice.What You'll Be DoingAdministering medications, injections, and other treatments as requiredMaintaining accurate patient records and documentation on Best Practice softwareCompetent with Care Planning and Senior Health AssessmentsCoordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient careProviding health education and advice to patientsMaintaining a high standard of infection control and workplace safetyPerforming other general nursing duties as needed to support the practice including wound care, ECG, spirometryAssisting general practitioners with patient procedures eg iron infusions and excisionsWhat We're Looking ForCurrent AHPRA registrationIdeally previous experience in a general practice or similar healthcare settingStrong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practiceExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and the healthcare teamAbility to work collaboratively and flexibly within a quick-paced environmentProficient in using medical software eg.
