Working within the Emergency Department, you will provide direct clinical care to a broad range of patients, developing your assessment, investigation and management skills under appropriate supervision.
This position is particularly well suited to doctors looking to build their Emergency Medicine experience and confidence before commencing specialty training.
About the Role As an Emergency Department SRMO, you will work as part of the AWH Emergency Department team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include: Assessing Emergency Department patients Requesting and interpreting appropriate investigations Developing and implementing patient management plans under supervision Providing high-quality clinical care Working collaboratively with senior medical staff, nursing and allied health teams Participating in quality improvement activities Contributing to clinical governance within the Emergency Department Participating in weekly education and professional development You will work within a supportive clinical setting designed to provide broad Emergency Medicine exposure and opportunities to develop your clinical skills.
