Position : Screen Printer Position type : Full time 38 hours per week Salary : $79,423 per annum plus superannuation Location : NSW **** Our client, SSPRINT, based in Marrickville NSW **** is seeking to employ a Screen Printer to join their team and perform the following tasks and duties: Key Responsibilities: ·Setting up, monitoring and overseeing the operation of automatic binding and finishing machinery.
·Binding full-bound, half-bound and limp-bound books, as well as carrying out binding repairs where required.
·Folding, collating and sewing printed sections using both machinery and manual methods.
·Operating paper guillotines for pre-press and post-press cutting and trimming, including programming electronically controlled equipment.
·Operating insertion systems used to place printed materials into newspapers, magazines, envelopes and other printed products.




·Applying decorative and finishing features to printed products using both automated equipment and manual techniques.
·Operating photographic and electronic reproduction equipment.
·Preparing printing stencils using computer-based and hand-cutting methods.
·Selecting, preparing, mixing and colour-matching inks before loading them into screen-printing presses.
·Placing printed items onto drying racks or through drying systems, then unloading, sorting and stacking finished products once dry.
Requirements: ●AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or ●AQF Certificate IV or ●3 years of relevant work experience
