cmr has partnered with Katherine Hospital to engage an experienced Social Worker for the following, full time permanent assignment based in Katherine, supporting clients in active crisis.
This role is suited to Social Workers with post graduate experience in inpatient, or community settings.
Key Duties: Providing high-level clinical Social Work services to patients, families and carers within acute hospital settings, including Emergency Departments and general medicine wards.
Conducting DFSV interventions, risk assessments and safety planning across regional and remote settings.
Managing complex, high-volume caseloads, independently planning and prioritising workload in a fast-paced and changing workplace.
Delivering timely, clinically appropriate and culturally responsive Social Work services with minimal supervision.




Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and across relevant health and community services.
The successful candidate will possess: Post graduate social work experience in inpatient or community settings.
Experience working with indigenous presentations.
NT Working With Childrens Clearance Eligibility for membership with the AASW Willingness to relocate to Katherine NT Additional benefits: Up to $12,000 relocation support.
