We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to join our friendly and supportive Allied Health team based in Warracknabeal.
The position involves delivering evidence-based exercise assessment, prescription and intervention across our community, acute and aged care services.
You will work with clients across a diverse range of health conditions, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, neurological, mental health and musculoskeletal conditions, with exercise programs tailored to individual functional abilities and needs.
While the position is based in Warracknabeal, you will have the opportunity to work across our three campuses in Warracknabeal, Hopetoun and Beulah, with service locations determined by client demand and service needs.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while supporting clients to improve their strength, mobility, physical function, independence and overall quality of life.

The successful candidate will have:



A recognised Exercise Physiology qualification and relevant professional accreditation through Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Experience working as an Exercise Physiologist within a public health or hospital setting is preferred; however applications from candidates with relevant experience in other settings are encouraged Experience providing exercise assessment, prescription and intervention across a range of clinical populations Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team A commitment to providing evidence-based, person-centred care The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive and collaborative Allied Health team An understanding of, and commitment to, the needs of a rural community Current First Aid and CPR certification Evidence of current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination A current Working with Children Check and Police Check or willingness to obtain What we can offer you: Personal and professional development opportunities Generous salary packaging benefits Employee Assistance Program A progressive, friendly and supportive team environment Adaptable working arrangement Accrued day off (ADO) entitlement for full-time employees
