MULTIPLE LOCATIONS AVAILABLE - BRISBANE | SYDNEY | MELBOURNE | PERTH This global Tier 1 engineering and infrastructure consultancy is adding a Proposals Specialist to an existing national team.
The opportunity offers an experienced Proposals professional to shape major opportunities, lead the development and delivery of complex, high-value proposals across multiple business lines and regions, and grow their career within a strong and supportive environment.
About the role You will take ownership of the end-to-end proposal process, coordinating diverse teams and ensuring high-quality submissions are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
Key responsibilities include: Lead large and complex proposals from capture through to submission and interview Develop and facilitate capture planning workshops and pursuit strategy sessions Coordinate RFI, RFQ and RFP responses, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal processes Work closely with technical, operational, commercial and business development teams to develop compelling content and solutions Support decisions through research, strategic input and advanced capture planning Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pursuit strategies and broader business planning.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of key clients, sectors and portfolios Identify trends from client feedback and debriefs and use these insights to improve future proposals Support proposal training,



process improvement initiatives and other strategic projects Provide guidance and mentoring to other proposal team members where required About you You'll be an experienced proposals/pursuit or bids professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and can bring structure and strategic thinking to complex pursuits.
You will ideally have: Demonstrated, tenured experience in bid, tender, proposal or pursuit management Experience managing complex proposals within engineering, infrastructure, construction, professional services or a similar technical environment Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills The ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling and client-focused content Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand client and market drivers Experience developing visually engaging presentations, graphics or other proposal materials will be highly regarded What's on offer Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
