The Role
We are seeking to appoint an energetic, inspiring and dynamic leader to take up the Program Coordinator position in Curriculum, Learning and Support.
In collaboration with the Principal and members of the leadership team, the role will provide educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision, and encouraging school staff, volunteers from the community and others to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
As Program Coordinator, part of your role includes contributing to the development of the school plan through participative decision making, including assisting in developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems.
The desired applicant will ideally have the capacity to deliver the following:
Contribute to whole school student achievement data




Address learning gaps with targeted intervention strategies
Use of instructional strategies/approaches and support staff
Lead and implement a whole school literacy focus
Coach staff members
Classroom observations
Build staff capability to implement the Department of Education WA Quality Teaching Strategy and Teaching for Impact.
Communicate effectively with families and stakeholders
The successful applicant will ideally bring highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of assessment and data to inform practice, and the ability to build the collaborative relationships that sustain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
