✨✨Teaching Assistant | Additional Learning Needs ✨✨Blacktown Area, Western Sydney ✨✨Term 4, **** Start (12th October ****) ✨✨5 Days Per Week | Term-Time Only ✨✨Permanent Position An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary education setting supporting young people who require additional support to successfully engage with their learning.
This is a permanent, five-day-per-week position working during school terms only, commencing Term 4, ****.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individual and small-group assistance, helping students build confidence, remain engaged in their education and achieve positive learning outcomes.
✨ The Role Provide classroom and individual learning support Work closely with students with a range of additional learning needs Support students with engagement, behaviour and participation in learning Assist teachers with the delivery of differentiated learning activities Help create a secure,



positive and inclusive learning environment Build strong and respectful relationships with young people Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider student support team Permanent role, five days per week during school terms ✨About You Previous experience working with young people with additional or complex learning needs is essential Cert 3 or Cert 4 in Education Support is highly desirable Experience within a school, youth, disability or specialist education environment highly regarded Patient, resilient and able to build rapport with young peopleConfident supporting students who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education Strong communication and teamwork skills Genuine passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes Current Working With Children Check and relevant eligibility to work within a NSW school environment This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working closely with young people and wants to make a genuine difference within a supportive and inclusive education setting.
