We are looking for support workers with experience in personal care, manual handling, mealtime modifications and Epilepsy.Key responsibilitiesSupporting participants with community access, appointments, shopping and social activitiesProviding personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, hoist transfers and toiletingAssisting with daily living activities and promoting participant independence and manual handlingSupporting participants to work towards their NDIS goalsFollowing individual support plans that might be behaviour support, mealtime management plans and care instructionsSupporting participants who may display complex medical or behaviours of concernProviding high-quality support while maintaining dignity, choice and controlCompleting progress notes, incident reports and other required documentationWorking collaboratively with participants, families,



support coordinators and the wider care teamAbout youCertificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a relevant qualificationPrevious disability or community care experienceNDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking with Children Check where requiredCurrent First Aid and CPRNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleReliable and insured vehicleGood communication and documentation skillsCasual SCHADS Award rates from $45 - $48 per hour, depending on applicable classification and experienceAdditional weekend, public holiday, shift and other applicable penalties/allowancesFlexible casual shiftsOpportunity to join casual pool and Part-time work across a range of participantsSupportive and qualified team environmentOpportunities to develop experience supporting participants with complex and high-intensity needsAbout usV Care Assisted Living Pty Ltd is committed to providing safe, respectful and person-centred support.
