Reporters here have real room to try things and to shape the voice of their masthead.The roleYou will drive the launch of a new masthead in Darwin and Palmerston.
There are thousands of stories in the area, from local characters to the big questions shaping the region's future.You will publish free local news, lifestyle and culture across newsletters, social, video and our website, with a focus on practical, useful information and clear reporting on underreported issues: climate and energy, cost of living, housing, infrastructure, education, healthcare and essential services.Day to day, you will:Find and report local stories that matter, across news, lifestyle and culture, from everyday community issues to public interest workWork across formats, from short explainers and newsletters to social posts and vertical videoSpend real time in the community, building relationships with locals, businesses, community groups and decision makersShape the editorial voice of a young masthead,



and try formats and ideas nobody has tried yetWork with our editorial and audience teams to grow reach.You will report to Brad Esposito, Editorial Director, and join a team of 10 reporters across nine mastheads.
