About the Role
As State Fleet Sales Manager, you will develop and deliver the State Fleet Sales Plan, aligned with the National Fleet strategy, to achieve profitable sales targets across the Queensland region.
You will grow strategic customer accounts, win new business and deliver fleet solutions across Dealer, Fleet Management Organisation, Rental, Government, Not-for-Profit and business fleet channels.
Reporting to the General Manager - Fleet Sales and Mobility, you will partner with Regional Sales Teams, the Dealer Network and internal stakeholders to strengthen fleet capability, expand market coverage and position MMAL's vehicle, leasing, subscription and fleet management solutions to customers.
Core Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor the annual State Fleet Sales Plan to support MMAL's business and strategic objectives
Deliver a regional fleet strategy that reflects local customers, competitors,



the Dealer Network and the full range of fleet solutions
Drive profitable quarterly and annual fleet sales targets in line with Regional and National goals
Build new business across Business ABN, SME, Large Fleet, Rental, Not-for-Profit and Government segments
Manage strategic customer accounts to retain existing volume, expand customer share and drive organic growth
Identify and pursue priority customer prospects and maintain a strong regional pipeline across the full sales lifecycle
Partner with Area Sales Managers and Dealers to strengthen fleet capability, processes and brand representation
Lead regular Dealer Fleet reviews and support the achievement of regional Dealer Fleet penetration targets
Essential Skills and Experience
Demonstrated success in B2B new business development and strategic account management, including customer acquisition, retention and organic growth
Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
Advanced sales, presentation and verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage teams, customer accounts and a geographic territory in a structured and organised way
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
Valid Australian driver's licence and ability to travel regularly
