Groundsperson / Garden LabourerAbout the RoleGreen by Nature is looking for a reliable and hands‐on Groundsperson / Garden Labourer to join our team maintaining a prominent green space in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.This is a full‐time position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You'll work alongside an experienced team maintaining high‐quality gardens and outdoor spaces in a busy public environment.It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, takes pride in keeping green spaces looking their best, and wants to build their skills and career within the horticulture industry.Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience will be highly regarded, but just as important is a strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.ResponsibilitiesAs part of the grounds maintenance team, you will:Carry out general garden and grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, hedging, weeding and pruningAssist with planting, mulching and maintaining garden bedsOperate equipment including push mowers, ride‐on mowers, blowers, hedgers and whipper snippersLoad and unload plants, materials and equipment as requiredKeep work areas, tools and equipment clean and well maintainedWork closely with your team to maintain a high standard across the siteFollow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your team and members of the publicAbout YouYou enjoy working outdoors,
