GDR Electrical Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis in South Gippsland, based in Leongatha.
This is an excellent prospect to work with a reputable electrical services company, contributing to a diverse range of projects whilst delivering high-quality workmanship.What you'll be doingInstalling, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settingsReading and interpreting electrical PIDs, diagrams, and technical specificationsPerforming fault finding/trouble-shooting electrical systemsEnsuring all work complies with electrical safety standards, and regulationsPerforming preventative maintenance on electrical installations to maximize efficiency and longevityCovering maintenance shifts in food/dairy factoriesCollaborating with other tradespeople and team members on project sitesCommunicating clearly with clients regarding work progress, timelines,



and any issues that ariseMaintaining accurate records of work completed and materials usedWhat we're looking forA valid electrical licenseProven experience working as an electrician in industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of electrical safety standards, building codes, and work health and safety regulationsProficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, circuit testers, and insulation testersExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamPhysical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where requiredFlexibility to potentially work early mornings, afternoon and night shiftsReliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to workA valid driving license and reliable transportationCommitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environmentAbout usGDR Electrical Services is a trusted electrical services provider based in Leongatha.
