Position Title: MAINTENANCE/HANDYPERSONLocation: LONGBEACH RSL4 THAMES PROMENADEChelsea VIC ****Reports to: General Manager / Operations ManagerHours/Days: Casual PositionPOSITION SUMMARYGeneral repairs and maintenance throughout a broad range of areas within the clubMaintaining public areas in a clean conditionPerform maintenance and light repairsPerform routine landscaping on the groundsPaint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc)Repair Equipment or appliancesGet quotes, schedule and assist tradespeople with required jobsUndertake duties as assigned or emergency tasksIdentify and report the need for major repairsEnsuring safety complianceReceive deliveriesSetting up of function furniture and equipmentEmergency Lighting auditsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHave a positive understanding of building maintenancePerform general cleaning and maintenanceMaintain cellar and general cleanliness including stock rotationResponsible for the thorough receipt of deliveries and the secure storage of stock and inventoryManual Handling and manual labourEfficient use of computers.
