Our administration team will support patients throughout their entire journey, from the first phone call and appointment booking through arrival, billing, referrals, clinical administration, follow-up and coordination between services.We are recruiting across General Practice, Cardiology and Allied Health.

private billing and payment processingReceiving and processing referralsPatient recalls, follow-up and appointment coordinationManaging clinical correspondence and administrative documentationSupporting GPs, Cardiologists, Specialists and Allied Health practitionersHelping coordinate patients between different services within Nuevo MedicalMaintaining accurate patient information and recordsSupporting efficient clinic flow and practitioner schedulesResponding to patient enquiries and helping organise the next step in their careGeneral medical administration and team supportContributing to a consistent and high-quality patient experience across the centreFor team members primarily supporting Cardiology, responsibilities may also include cardiac testing bookings, specialist referrals, hospital procedure administration, preparation of clinic lists and direct administrative support to Cardiologists.For team members primarily supporting General Practice or Allied Health, responsibilities may include recalls, care coordination, treatment-room administration, Allied Health bookings and internal referral pathways.About youWe are looking for people who are professional, organised and naturally good with patients.You will ideally have:Previous experience in medical reception, medical administration, General Practice, specialist practice, hospital administration or Allied HealthExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA warm, confident and professional mannerStrong attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to manage competing priorities in a busy healthcare environmentConfidence using practice management systems and general office technologyStrong organisational and follow-up skillsThe ability to work independently while contributing to a broader teamA proactive approach to solving problems and assisting patientsA genuine commitment to providing an exceptional patient experienceExperience with Medicare billing, referrals, appointment management, specialist administration or clinical correspondence will be highly regarded.Most importantly, we are looking for people who take ownership.
