Haverick Meats is seeking a skilled and reliable High Reach Forklift Driver to join our warehouse and distribution team in Botany, NSW.
This position contributes to the smooth operation of our storage and distribution facilities.
As a LF Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, safely and efficiently moving products throughout our warehouse environment.
Your expertise in operating high reach forklifts will directly impact our ability to meet delivery schedules and maintain excellent inventory management.Key responsibilitiesOperate LF forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack and retrieve double deep products in warehouse environmentsConduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues or defects immediatelyConduct post-shift inspections of forklift equipment putting chargers in placeAdhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and warehouse operating proceduresLoad and unload delivery vehicles with accuracy, ensuring products are secured and organised correctlyMaintain accurate records of inventory movements and warehouse transactionsWork collaboratively with warehouse and logistics team members to ensure efficient daily operationsOptimise warehouse space by stacking products effectively and safely at appropriate heightsRespond promptly to urgent requests and prioritise tasks to meet operational deadlinesWhat we're looking forCurrent and valid LF Forklift LicenceProven experience operating LF forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environmentStrong understanding of health and safety requirements, including load capacity limits and protected working practicesExcellent spatial awareness and attention to detail when manoeuvring equipment in tight spacesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team settingPhysical fitness to perform repetitive lifting and movement throughout shiftsReliable and punctual work ethic with a commitment to quality and safetyExperience in the meat processing or food distribution industry is advantageousAbility to work flexibly, including early mornings and potential weekend shifts as requiredWhat we offersupportive work environmentAs a casual employee, you will receive competitive rates of pay aligned with industry standards.maintaining safe working conditionsproviding access to modern warehouse equipmentteam-oriented culture encourages professional development and we welcome questions about role progression opportunitiesAbout usHaverick Meats is a well-established organisation within the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector, specialising in meat processing and distribution.
