This is a part time role made up of 0.40 FTE teaching and 0.2 FTE support.

****.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver innovative and engaging Hebrew and Jewish Studies lessons for Middle School students.Cater for individual learning needs within the classroomWork collaboratively with the Hebrew and Jewish Studies staff to deliver curriculumAssess, evaluate and report on student progressEnsure smooth handover with teacher on leave prior to commencement and on conclusionDemonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and the qualities of life-long learningContribute to the broader Jewish life of the College through involvement in festivals, special events and informal-education programsCreate a culture of learning within the classroomSkills and ExperienceExperience in Hebrew Support highly preferable.Outstanding ability to communicate and inspire.Demonstrated contribution to Jewish life.Fluent in Hebrew (spoken and written).
