Dockmaster (Full-time, Part Time and Casual available)To support the continuing strong growth of our business across Sydney into our new locations we're looking for energetic, friendly Dockmasters to join our Sydney based team and help deliver unforgettable boating experiences.Positions open in fulltime, part time and casual capacity across Mosman, Rushcutters Bay, Pittwater and Bobbin Head.This is a hands‐on, people‐facing role where no two days are the same.
You'll be right on the water, working with our boats, welcoming members, and being the friendly face of Freedom Boat Club.What you'll be doingWelcoming members to the marina and setting them up for a great day on the waterManaging boat check‐ins and check‐outs using a handheld tablet or smartphonePreparing boats for departure by checking fuel, safety equipment, and cleanlinessKeeping boats and marina spaces clean, tidy, and presentation‐readyCarrying out basic vessel inspections and reporting any maintenance needsHelping coordinate servicing and maintenance with local vendorsManaging reservations and creating a smooth dockside experienceChatting with members, sharing knowledge, and building great rapportSupporting events, boat shows, and community days to promote the clubAssisting with simple admin tasks like reservation logs, fuel logs, and weather reportsWhat we're looking forYou don't need to be a professional skipper, however hands on experience with 6-8mtrs boats is essential, we're mostly looking for the right attitude and energy.Enjoy working outdoors and don't mind being on your feetAre friendly, reliable,
