This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the mechanical trade industry .
As a Skilled Labourer, you will provide essential help to complete the project.
Position is mechanical assistantKey responsibilitiesAssisting skilled tradespeople on site with installation, maintenance and repair tasksPreparing work areas by clearing debris, organizing materials and ensuring sites are clean and safeOperating and maintaining hand tools and light power tools in accordance with safety guidelinesLoading, unloading and transporting materials,



equipment and supplies to and from job sitesFollowing health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents immediatelySupporting ductwork and PVC pipework installationAssisting with site maintenance and keeping work areas tidy and organizedCommunicating effectively with team members to ensure coordination and efficiency on siteFollowing instructions from supervisors and adhering to project specifications and timelinesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a laborer within the trades or construction industryA solid understanding of basic electrical safety practices and site safety protocolsPhysical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy itemsProficiency in the use of hand tools and light power toolsA valid driver's license and access to reliable transport to reach job siteExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamReliability and punctuality, with a robust work ethic and commitment to qualityA willingness to learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeopleWhite Card or equivalent construction induction trainingHigh standard of workmanship
