This is a business that partners closely with its clients to design, deliver and continuously improve their technology environments.As a Solutions Design Engineer, you will be responsible for scoping, designing and architecting solutions across cloud, infrastructure, voice, and networks.
Working alongside another Solutions Consultant, you'll sit centrally within the business, engaging with sales, operations, project delivery and leadership across the full solution lifecycle - from initial client assessments through to onboarding and ongoing environment management.Responsibilities include:Scoping and designing/architecting solutions across cloud, infrastructure, voice, and networksParticipating in client-facing meetings, including initial discovery,



assessments and infrastructure reviewsSupporting the later stages of the sales cycle by assisting with technical questionsOverseeing client onboarding when neededReviewing existing solutions delivered to clients and proactively suggesting initiatives and improvementsOverseeing client environments on an ongoing basisDelivering AI enablement sessions to clientsWorking closely with operations, project delivery, sales and leadership as a central point of technical expertiseApplying critical thinking and creative problem-solving to solution designExperience needed:Experience within an MSP environment, with some exposure to pre-salesPrior experience delivering project work, having seen solutions through from design to deliveryStrong knowledge of infrastructure, servers, M365 and security best practices (including frameworks such as Essential Eight)Robust critical thinking and the ability to think outside the boxPride in your work and attention to detailAmbition to progress into a dedicated pre-sales careerWhat's on offer:Hybrid working, with office locations based around SydneyPaid training and developmentCar allowanceClear progression opportunitiesThe chance to join a central, cross-functional team with genuine ownership over client solutions
