food service businesses and other large-scale commercial environments.Key Duties Include:Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systemsDiagnose complex refrigeration faults and complete repairs efficientlyWork on supermarket and hospitality refrigeration equipmentMaintain cool rooms, freezer rooms, display cabinets, refrigerated cases and associated equipmentUndertake preventative and scheduled maintenanceInterpret technical drawings, schematics and documentationProvide high-quality service to commercial clientsComply with workplace health and safety requirementsMentor apprentices and junior technicians where applicableKey RequirementsTrade qualification in Refrigeration / Air-conditioning and RefrigerationStrong commercial refrigeration experience is essentialPrevious experience with supermarket refrigeration and/or hospitality refrigeration is highly regardedStrong refrigeration fault-finding, diagnostics, service and repair skillsExperience working independently in service environmentsGood communication and customer service skillsCommitment to safe, high-quality workmanshipWillingness to relocate within Australia where requiredAbility to pass drug and alcohol testingPlease note: We are specifically recruiting commercial refrigeration technicians.
Candidates whose experience is primarily air conditioning installation, split systems or residential HVAC are unlikely to be suitable for these positions.A positive skills assessment / OTSR issued by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is highly desirable for international applicants.
