MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Electrical Apprentice in Kooragang Island NSW.About the role:This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:Repair & maintain electrical infrastructureOverhead, underground & plant power supplyRepair & maintain electrical control, wiring & lighting systemsRead technical drawings & blueprintsPerform electrical maintenanceInspect transformers, & circuit breakers and other electrical componentsAssisting tradesmenUse of hand and power toolsWhat we're looking for - Skills & ExperienceBasic understanding of electrotechnology and demonstrate an interest in this fieldStrong attention to detailElectrical & Mechanical aptitude as well as high mathematics aptitudeStrong communication skills and work well within a teamSuperior safety awarenessLong term career goals and commitment to complete the apprenticeshipReliable on the job, high initiative, and adaptabilityDriver's licence and own transport (preferred)Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred)Hold a white cardWhat can you expect from us?
